Roboty’C
The RobotYc competition is a competition initiated by the Conseil Département des Yvelines, Yvelines Numérique and accompanied by the DANE de Versailles.
It is open to colleges in the Yvelines and Hauts-de-Seine departments.
This year, 14 classes are participating:
- 6 classes of 3ème from the Hauts-de-Seine department
- 4 classes of 3ème from the Yvelines department
- 3 ULIS classes in the Yvelines department
- 1 UPE2A class from the Yvelines department

As part of this project, each class has been given 4 Lego Mindstorms kits. The teams will have to :
- Invent and build an evolutionary pathway representing a sorting centre with a bulk waste storage area, 3 recycling bins and a circulation area.
- Invent and build a robot that will identify 3 types of waste and move them to the correct recycling bin.
- Prepare an oral presentation that presents their project.
