CodeWeek

Ouvrez vos ateliers de code, de logique et de programmation vers une dimension européenne.

A citizens’ initiative

For its ninth edition, European Code Week wants to create a European celebration around programming activities that are fun and creative to allow all European citizens, and therefore our students, to acquire basic programming skills.
The aim is to show that :

  • Programming is fun and playful;
  • Programming helps to develop creativity (creation of video games, applications, websites, ...)
  • Programming allows the student to become an actor. He is no longer a simple consumer of digital technology but a programmer (a robot, a website, a connected object,...) by engaging in action;
  • Programming allows us to understand the world around us;
  • Programming allows us to develop 21st century skills: creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, computational thinking and problem solving;
  • 90% of today’s jobs require so-called digital skills and in particular programming skills.

The programme for the 2021 edition in the academy

The teams of the DANE, the Canopé workshops and the referent teachers of digital uses, have mobilised to promote coding and  robot  programming activities throughout the academy.
